PARADISE ALIENS
Our second feature, Paradise Aliens, is now moving towards pre-production with the intention of shooting in Spring 2012 and we have started building our team. The ever reliable Roger Harding and Amelia Tyler will be taking central roles in the cast, Hayley McKenzie is our script consultant and The Audio Suite are lined up to take care of our audio post production.

If you would like to get involved in any capacity then email Chris for further details. Our immediate needs are for a production assistant for two to three hours a week initially to write letters, make phone calls and so on but I would like to hear from anyone interested in joining the cast or crew.

More details about the movie can be found on the Paradise Aliens website and you can keep up to date by following us on Facebook or Twitter.

CHRISTMAS PRESENCE
Chris has recently completed a short Christmas film titled Christmas Presence starring Damian Hayes and Tianna Cockell with support from Huw Bowen, Amelia Tyler, Holly Scott and Cameron Foskett.

The intention is to submit it to short film festivals and screening events around the region.

Many thanks to all those who helped on this film but especially Huw Bowen who took my so-so rough cut and turned it into a thing of beauty and Darren Scott, whose music lifted it to another plane.

DVD copies will be sent out to the cast and crew in the New Year.

CHRISTMAS PRESENTS
Looking for that elusive Christmas Present? We wholeheartedly recommend the novels from our good friends Paul Hardy and Abigail Tarttelin.
The Last Man On Earth Club
Paul's novel is a sci fi adventure titled The Last Man on Earth Club, about a therapy group for people who are the last survivors of their world.

Each of them was rescued from a parallel universe where humanity was wiped out. They’ve survived nuclear war, zombies, machine uprisings, mass suicide and more. They’ve been given sanctuary on the homeworld of the Interversal Union, and placed with a therapist who works with survivors of doomed worlds.

It is £1.99, available as a download from Amazon.

Flick
Abigail Tarttelin also published her debut novel earlier in the year, titled Flick, Flick is a highly recommended book attracting five star reviews

Described as a "brilliant, unforgettable moment in the life of two teenagers: a sweet taste of young life, a love letter to hope".

It's available from Waterstones and all good bookshops in paperback or online as a digital download.

CHRISTMAS CARD
A very merry Christmas and happy New Year to one and all from Entanglement Productions. We have taken the liberty of preparing a sci fi video christmas card for your amusement - just click on the trees below to watch. Enjoy!

QUOTE OF THE MONTH
"You can get away with indifferent photography, you can get away with unimaginative casting, pedestrian editing and uninspired music, but what you can't get away with in the process of movie-making is a bad script"
Ken Russell

TRIVIA CORNER
In Back To The Future there is a scene where you can see all of the clocks at Doc's house. If you look closely there is one clock with a little man hanging from the minute hand.

Cheers for now,

Chris
