Anastasia Hunter is the Science Director for a gulag in the People’s Republic of Great Britain. Sarah Hunter-Gibson is a professor in a utopian, high-tech society.

Rebecca takes a terrifying trip into the People’s Republic, a dystopian alternate Britain. Her encounter with a totalitarian regime is only the beginning of her problems as the universe begins to unravel around her. As time runs out she has to use her sharp intellect and mastery of quantum physics to save the entire multiverse.

The Paradise Aliens

 Synopsis:

Rita persuades her friends to help set up and run an astronomy experiment at the head of a disused quarry but their activities are interrupted by a large meteorite crashing into the lake at the bottom of the quarry. Rita is excited and drags her friends down into the quarry to recover bits of the meteorite but once down there they find that it was the remains of an alien spaceship that crashed and that there are survivors. Survivors that see them as walking meals.

Fortunately help is at hand in the shape of Erinyes and her butler Gerald, the interstellar bounty hunters that shot the ship down in the first place.

 Synopsis

The Ministry of Secrets is a secret government department that has been investigating all things supernatural, paranormal and extra-terrestrial for over 100 years. In this time they have amassed an extensive collection of alien technology, grimoires and other books of power and various live subjects (vampires, werewolves, zombies, assorted aliens) all of which are kept deep underground beneath their Warwickshire headquarters.

The Operator is just another phone jockey providing support to agents in the field, able to advise on anything from disarming a nuclear bomb to exorcising a class II demon. Until the day there are no agents available and he finds himself in the field. A simple job, just routine.

But preventing the apocalypse is never routine and should certainly not be entrusted to tech support…
